Animation Explainers is a video production company that specializes in creating high-quality animated explainer videos that help organizations explain complex ideas, products, and services to their target audience. Our goal is to create unique and eye-catching video content that is tailored to the specific needs of our clients while ensuring that the modern consumer easily understands the message. 

Dylan Healy and I came up with the idea for Animation Explainers after realizing the increasing demand for explainer videos in the market. With our passion for animation and concept visualization, we started creating animated videos as a hobby and gradually built a team of like-minded professionals. Today, our company has over 350 clients, has created over 750 videos, and has a team of sales agents, marketers, animators, and illustrators across the world. 

Animation Explainers has developed a world-class process for creating explainer videos that guarantee the delivery of compelling and straightforward messages. Our process involves a kick-off requirements call, where we gather all the necessary information to bring their client’s story to life. The next step is the creation of the script, which is centered around the client’s message, intended audience, and any additional information discussed during the requirements call. Then, we create the storyboard and style, where the client can choose from a variety of animation styles that suit their brand. The real magic happens during the animation stage, where the video concept becomes a reality. Upon completion, the client receives a beautifully crafted final product that meets their expectations and fits their budget.

3 strategies that have worked to attract and retain customers? 

Flexible Pricing:  As a video production company, we have implemented various strategies that have been successful in attracting and retaining customers. The first strategy we use is our flexible pricing approach. We offer pricing based on the length of the video produced, with the ability to produce videos of any length over 1 minute. This pricing method allows us to cater to clients with various budgets and produce quality videos regardless of length. 

Project Review Calls: Secondly, we have a team of highly skilled project managers who oversee the entire production process. They ensure that each project is executed effectively, on time, and on budget. Additionally, we conduct project review calls to ensure that our clients are satisfied with the progress of the project and to make any necessary changes before the final delivery.

Video Launch Strategy – Finally, we offer a lead generation service through our sister company Leadingo. This service helps our clients launch their videos and promote them to their target audience. This additional service has been instrumental in helping our clients increase their return on investment and achieve their marketing goals. Through these strategies, we have been able to maintain long-term relationships with our clients and continue to attract new customers to our video production company. 

3 things that you’ve learned about hiring and retaining great talent? 

Don’t rush the hiring process: One of the biggest mistakes you can make is to rush the hiring process. Take your time to carefully evaluate each candidate and ensure they are a good fit for the role and your company culture. Rushing the process may result in hiring the wrong candidate who isn’t a good fit for the role or the company, which can be costly in terms of time and resources. 

Do reference checks on applicants: Reference checks can provide valuable insights into a candidate’s work ethic, attitude, and overall performance. Take the time to call references and ask specific questions related to the candidate’s experience and work habits. This can help you confirm the information provided by the candidate during the interview process and provide a more comprehensive understanding of the candidate. 

Natural Progression: Make sure the role is a natural progression for the candidate in their career: It’s important to make sure the position you’re hiring for is a natural progression for the candidate in their career. This means taking into consideration the candidate’s skills, experience, and career goals.
