4 strategies that have worked to attract and retain customers?
✅ We’ve had the good fortune of assisting a large number of people, and we’re getting a lot of leads via referrals. Clients are delighted not just by our quality and quickness but also by our process and recommendations, and word of mouth has helped us expand significantly.
✅ Our presence in as many channels as possible. In addition to our website, we have a blog, a podcast, and a YouTube channel. Also, we’re very active on social. That helps us in some way to make it easier for people to find us.
✅ We created a development calculator for those who want to get an idea of the development cost of the concept they have in mind. This tool has given us many leads that, after discovery calls, have become clients.
✅ The options described above that we offer to our clients to maintain and scale their apps.
3-4 things that haven’t worked (or didn’t work as well) when it comes to growing the company?
❌ Ads. We’ve tried it a few times, and got really unqualified leads.
❌ Cold emails. Same as above, very unqualified and indecisive leads.
❌ Hiring average developers. We are REALLY good at what we do, focus on quality, and can’t have ordinary or sub-par people.
Through starting & growing the business, what have been the 3 key lessons that have possibly changed the trajectory of the company?
✅ Automation of repetitive tasks so the team could focus on what is really important.
✅ Diversify our tech stack, in addition to Glide, and build solutions using platforms such as Bubble, FlutterFlow, Caspio, Formstack, and Make.
✅ Documenting every single process in the Agency. If the action will be repeated in the future, there’s an SOP documented in our Notion.
3 things that you’ve learned about hiring and retaining great talent?
✅ At LowCode Agency, we’re a ten-person team working remotely from around the world. Sometimes this is a real challenge in things you can’t even imagine, but if you hire people who are aligned with your vision, everything will work as it should.
✅ What I’ve learned over the years is that hiring well is life-changing and the key for any business to run smoothly and have a successful team.
✅ When you find a great talent you have to ensure it stays with you. We want our talent to see LowCode as their safe space, where their opinions will be heard, and where they will learn a lot and grow personally and professionally surrounded by great people and benefits.
