How does the company make money?
💰 Agency subscription (2k/mo): We allow digital marketing agencies to have their own logins to our network of wordpress websites, which allows them to publish content, with their client links embedded, instantly.
3 strategies that have worked to attract and retain customers?
✅ Linkedin: I use several AI tools to help me create and post, and also comment on other posts
✅ Cold email: I use Apollo.io to send out cold emails to digital marketing agencies.
✅ Referrals/Partners: I have relationships with several partners who refer me clients.
3 things that you’ve learned about hiring and retaining great talent?
✅ Never dismiss their suggestions. The Green Bay Packers learnt this the hard way when they fell out with Aaron Rodgers because he wasn’t allowed a say in decisions that affected his ability to lead his team to victory. Webex made the same mistake, failing to give traction to a proposal for a phone-friendly platform made by star executive Eric Yuan, who became irritated and quit to start mega rival Zoom.
✅ Never miss up an opportunity to compliment them. Exceptional people devote their entire lives to difficult tasks. They will drift away or become bitter if they do not receive appreciation.
✅ Never obstruct their growth. Allowing stars to continue to flourish will earn their devotion. Yet, if they believe their path forward has been blocked, they will take their expertise to an organization that they believe will pave the way for them.
