3 strategies that have worked to attract and retain customers?

Email marketing: I provide helpful resources to my subscribers and help them each month. Sometimes it’s badge printables, valuable blogs, occasionally other people’s products, or anything that would fit for that month of scouting.

Freebies available on the blog: I provide a lot of free resources on the blog. Every week I share different blog posts with ideas for a leader to use in their troop.

Use of Pinterest and Facebook: I have a private Facebook group just for leaders to share ideas with one another. On Pinterest, I have a large following and share all kinds of ideas across the web that would be great for a leader to use.  The more free stuff I provide the more readers I get.

3 things that you’ve learned about hiring and retaining great talent?

I have tried using different marketing firms in past but found that in this niche if they do not know Girl scouting you are not going to get an authentic message set forth. I look to other leaders for information to share on my blog. I offer free printables in exchange for content that works on-site.

Pinterest VA:  Pinterest is where I get the most traffic so building a collection of clickable pins was important I found someone that understood what leaders are looking for and hired them – been using current VA for years.

✅ I am a one-person show other than my Pinterest VA, when I need a one-off thing completed I use Fiverr and find people that have high reviews.
