In your own words, what does your company do?
Growth Gorilla B2B Software companies promote their content to get high-quality publishers to link to it, increase traffic, and sign-ups, and win at the SEO game.
We differentiate ourselves from other backlink vendors or agencies through the strategic input that we bring to our clients.
Growth Gorilla comes in as a “fractional content promotion and link-building team” so that companies don’t have to worry about knowing what to do (nor how to do it) to get more traffic to their content.
Our methodology revolves around the 3 biggest problems most companies have when it comes to link-building and content promotion:
1. They don’t know what pages to promote (and which order) to get a good ROI.
2. They don’t know what kind of links to acquire to close the gap with the competition.
3. They don’t know how to do it and don’t have the time or resources to do it in-house.
Our Content Promotion Roadmaps solve problem #1 and is the core of our methodology. It allows us to know exactly which pages to promote (and in which order) to increase your traffic and sign-ups in the next 90 days.
Our Link Analysis Reports solve problem #2 and is what gives us precision in our methodology. It allows us to know exactly how many and what kind of links you need to acquire to increase your traffic and sign-ups in the next 90 days.
Our outreach campaigns solve problem #3 and represent our strategy and plan put into action. It’s our system to find relevant targets and consistently brings in quality backlinks.

3 strategies that have worked to attract and retain customers?
✅ Cold outreach: we reach out to companies that are producing content, but not getting as much traffic as they should (most of their content is stuck on page 2 or lower of Google) and offer them a free video audit with a few ideas and tips. If they are interested and like what they see, they typically ask to get on a call.
✅ Podcast appearances: I do cold outreach (and also receive invites) to get featured on relevant podcasts (that our target audience might listen to), this is our second-best acquisition channel. People get value from what I share on the podcasts and reach out asking for more and eventually having us do the work for them.
✅ Twitter/Linkedin posts: I post relevant content on social media to help people with their content promotion and link building, people like and find value in it and reach out curious to know more.
3 things that you’ve learned about hiring and retaining great talent?
✅ Asking current team members if they have any friends or family members interested in joining the team. This has been super helpful for us to save time and simplify the hiring process since the existing team members usually end up training the new people (especially if they speak the same language).
✅ Give freedom – outcome, project, and goals are more important than hours worked. I always try to avoid micromanaging and allow a certain degree of freedom and flexibility. This improves morale and helps the team members feel empowered. Setting clear expectations is crucial though for this to work.
✅ Provide either positive or “adjusting feedback”, not “negative”. Anytime a team member does something that would be considered “wrong”, I provide “adjusting” feedback. The point is, everyone makes mistakes, it’s just a matter of helping them see where they could improve to avoid that from happening again. Generally speaking, everyone tries their best, and no one likes to be blamed or shamed.
